The velvet your shop lies on: its home page, checkout and emails. Each collection can have its own.

Without one, your shop gets a monogram of its initials.

Where your parcels leave from, for shipping rates and labels. United States only.

Start from a simple policy and make it yours. Blank lines start a new paragraph.

• Your shipping labels are bought through Asto's shipping account with your store's name and ship-from address as the sender.
• USPS: if a parcel is lost or damaged, you file the claim with USPS as the mailer and what USPS pays is yours to collect. Each shipped order in your Shop tab shows USPS's claim window and the label receipt USPS asks for.
• UPS and FedEx: only the shipping account can claim, so Asto files the claim for you with the photos and proof of value you send from the order. When the carrier pays Asto, Asto sends you the same amount (the goods' value and any postage refund) to your store's Stripe account. Nothing is sent before the carrier pays.
• Any shortfall is yours: a claim the carrier refuses or pays in part, a value above what was insured, a missed deadline, and whatever you refund or replace for your buyer.
• Asto is not liable for lost or damaged parcels and pays no claim from its own money: it passes on what the carrier pays.
• The shipping your buyer paid at checkout pays for the label and its insurance and is kept by Asto, whatever happens to the parcel.
• Carrier adjustments are yours: when a carrier later charges more for a label because the box weighed more, was bigger or was otherwise not as entered (or for any other error in what you entered), that charge is taken from your next sale, up to your share of it, and any rest from the sales after. You get an email for each one. A carrier refund of such a charge comes off what you owe.
