Terms of Service

These terms cover the subscription products sold at goasto.com — Asto Pro, the AI chat widget for your website (“Business”), and Asto Chat, a personal AI agent (“Personal”) — each operated by Nerd Systems. They don’t cover Nerd Systems’ separate website design/hosting work, which has its own terms at nerdsystems.com/terms.

Plans & pricing

Asto Chat (Personal) — $20/month or $200/year, with a free 7-day trial before any card is charged.

Asto Pro (Business) — $50/month or $500/year, plus a one-time $250 setup fee, charged on your first invoice, only when Asto Pro is added to your own existing website (there is no setup fee on an Asto Site). No free trial; you pay at checkout, and setup starts right away.

You bring your own Anthropic API key — the API usage your agent generates is billed to you directly by Anthropic, separately from your Asto subscription.

Cancellation

You can cancel any time. Canceling stops future billing — you are not charged again — and your agent stays active through the end of the period you already paid for. There’s no early termination fee.

Refunds

We don’t offer automatic refunds for partial billing periods — if you cancel partway through a month or year, you keep access for the rest of that period instead of getting money back for the unused part. If something went wrong on our end, email us and we’ll sort it out by hand.

Failed payments

If a payment fails, we’ll try again and email you. If it’s still unpaid after about a week we’ll warn you again, and if it’s still unresolved after about two weeks your agent is suspended until payment succeeds. A suspended agent is paused, not deleted.

No lock-in

Nothing here locks you into a term. Every plan is billed month-to-month or year-to-year with no contract — cancel whenever you want, and the rules above are the whole of what that means.

We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected here with a new “last updated” date.
